Teachers’ Day is just round the corner. Are you and your child cracking your brains to come up with the perfect gifts to express your gratitude to the school teachers?

There are many gifts readily available for purchases, but they often lack a personal touch. Not to mention the crazily marked up prices too!

Here’s a recommended list of personalized, economically-friendly gifts, coupled with suggested bilingual words of appreciation, that your child can proudly present to his/her teachers this Teachers’ Day!

【#1 手工卡片 DIY Thank You Card】

This is a DIY gift that most students will choose to make, as it is the most affordable and meaningful. Here are some inspirations!

As ex-school teachers ourselves, we can vouch that red pens are one of the most useful gifts a teacher can receive. Teachers have to mark tens, if not hundreds of scripts every day, and keeping an ample stock of red pens is a must-have!

Write a message to accompany your gift!
Thank you for helping me write a chapter in my story!

Many teachers have such a busy schedule in school that they often forgo their lunch. Energy bars will give them a boost and fill their empty stomachs!

Write a message to accompany your gift!
Here’s an energy boost for you!

Teachers work their brains a lot, having to answer the many questions students might have, as well as dealing with the daily grind. Sugar can boost brain power, and pretty candies will definitely add colours to their otherwise dull work desks!

Write a message to accompany your gift!
Thank you for being such a sweet teacher!

Given the amount of words that teachers write when they teach, whiteboard markers run out of ink really quickly! Give your teacher a whiteboard marker so that he/she will always have a backup!

Write a message to accompany your gift!
I can never erase the marks you have left on me. Thank you!
